What is CM-Inpractice
InPractice is a powerful and full-featured IBM Rational ClearCase add-on application. InPractice provides complete and comprehensive support for true enterprise wide management of policies and triggers.
A well-run Configuration Management (CM) environment needs a CM plan defining policies and rules of the road. InPractice provides the interface between the CM plan and the ability to put it into practice within ClearCase.
InPractice provides flexible policy and ClearCase trigger management. Organisations utilise the trigger functionality in ClearCase to both enforce their policies and to automate various aspects of their lifecycle.
For organisations that have specific requirements from their trigger policies, InPractice has an API for organisations to add their own extensions. CM-Logic can develop these extensions for you.
