JazzConnect-Email (Reader)

The Reader Edition is a plug-in application to the IBM Rational Jazz platform that enables the automatic creation and update of Work Items through the use of email.

The ability to use email as an additional client interface to Jazz provides valuable and enhanced Work Item management from external sources such as Customers, Help Desk and Service Desk applications, Build Automation tools and many others.

Some key features of JazzConnect-Email (Reader) Edition include:

• Blacklist support to prevent unwanted email submissions
• POP3/IMAP support
• Support for multiple inbox processing
• Configurable  default field value settings
• Automatic Jazz User Creation
• Automatic Subsribe to Work Item 
• Support for Attachments
• LDAP integration

License model: A JazzConnect-Email (Reader) license is tied to a Jazz Team Server instance but can process many inboxes and many projects hosted on that Server.

The Sender Edition is a plug-in application to the IBM Rational Jazz platofrm that enables the sending of Work Item information to interested parties through email directly from the Work Item interface.
